If you have questions or concerns about your child's speech, language or communication, you may not want to wait weeks or months before getting some professional guidance.
Our Speech & Language Check-In gives you the opportunity to see a Speech and Language Therapist quickly, with appointments specifically available during the school holidays.
Because appointments take place during the holidays, there's no need to take your child out of nursery or school or disrupt their usual term-time routine.
The Check-In can be a particularly useful option if you:
Are waiting for an NHS Speech and Language Therapy appointment and would like some professional guidance in the meantime
Want some answers and practical advice now rather than waiting for a full assessment
Would like a more affordable way to access initial professional advice before deciding whether a full private assessment is needed
Don't want your child to miss nursery or school for an appointment
During the 40-minute appointment, one of our Speech and Language Therapists will spend time with your child, exploring their communication through age-appropriate activities and interaction.

A 40-minute session with your child
Professional observations of their speech, language and communication
Practical recommendations based on what we observe
Strategies you can use at home
Suggested next steps, where appropriate
The Check-In is designed to give you a focused professional overview and practical guidance without the cost or time commitment of a full private assessment.
It is not a full Speech and Language Therapy assessment or diagnostic assessment. If the therapist feels that further assessment or support would be beneficial, they can advise you on appropriate next steps.
Optional Parent Consultation · £85
If you would like more time to discuss the therapist's observations and recommendations, you can book an optional online parent consultation following your child's Check-In.
This 30–40 minute consultation gives you dedicated time with the therapist to ask questions, talk through the recommendations and discuss possible next steps.
How it works
Choose an available school-holiday appointment and book online. The £125 fee is paid securely when you book.
After booking, we will send you a Registration Form and Case History Form.
These must be completed at least 48 hours before your appointment, allowing your therapist time to review the information before meeting your child.
Appointments are limited and available during selected school holidays.
