Brand new mentoring program for professionals working with children aged 2-12 with speech, language and communication needs!
You may have listened to Emma (our Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist, and Founder) on podcasts or watched her videos on social media. This is your chance to be a part of a small group mentored by her for 6 weeks, starting in September.
This mentoring program is structured where Emma will talk you through a variety of therapeutic techniques to enable you to assess and support children presenting with speech, language and communication needs day to day. Emma will be there to answer specific questions, discuss case studies and empower you to become the best childcare professional you can be.
What will you get:
Online Welcome Session: goal setting & ‘big’ questions we need to answer.
Online Session 1: Communication & connection - how and why.
Online Session 2: Family matters - how to work with parents effectively
Online Session 3: Assessment limitations - how to assess differently to ensure we get what we need.
Online session 4: Communication golden rules - how to work with any child with communication differences.
Wrap up session: reflections & next steps.
Each session will be a combination of seminar-style teaching, case studies, discussion and Q&A.
The mentoring program is designed to be flexible, so topics/ themes may change to meet the group requirements.
September’s intake of the mentoring program and is offered at a discounted rate of £9.20 per week.
